PISTON PUMP PRESSURE TEST AND ADJUSTMENT - CONTINUED
3.
Pump Cutoff Pressure.
a.
Remove right chassis covers (WP 0107 00) for
access to bank valves.
b.
Connect pressure gage to hose.
c.
Connect other end of hose assembly to test port
(6) for piston pump pressure. Test port is on top
of bank valve (7).

d.
Adjust signal limiter valve pressure above pump cutoff pressure. Pump cutoff pressure should be 3,750 50 psi
(25,850 350 kPa). Refer to step 2.
e.
f.
Raise lift arms. Move work tool fully to TILT BACK position. Hold work tool against stops (TM 5-3805-290-10).
g.
Observe pump cutoff pressure. Pump cutoff pressure should be 3,750 50 psi (25,850 350 kPa).
h.
i.
If pump cutoff pressure is correct, stop engine (TM 5-3805-290-10). Adjust signal limiter valve to proper pressure.
Refer to step 2. Remove all test equipment.
j.
If pump cutoff pressure is not correct, stop engine and proceed to step 4.
