5. Attach lifting device to tandem pump (Figure 2, Item 3).
N OT E
Tag wires to aid in installation.
6. Remove 12 bolts (Figure 2, Item 1), washers (Figure 2, Item 2), and four ground wires (Figure 2, Item 4) from
tandem pump (Figure 2, Item 3).
WARN I N G
Use extreme caution when handling heavy parts. Provide adequate support and use
assistance during procedure. Ensure that lifting device is in good condition and of suitable
load capacity. Keep clear of heavy parts supported only by lifting device. Failure to follow
this warning may result in injury or death to personnel.
N OT E
Tandem pump weighs 230 lb (105 kg).
7. Using lifting device, remove tandem pump (Figure 2, Item 3) from machine and place on flat surface.
8. Remove lifting device from tandem pump (Figure 2, Item 3).
