NOTE
Always test performance of a fuel
injector before disassembly. If fuel
injector tests are satisfactory,
there
is no need to disassemble or adjust
fuel injector.
Dont mix parts from one fuel injector
with another. Fuel injectors have parts
with tight tolerances. Dirt will damage
these parts. Keep work location and
tools clean to prevent damaging these
parts.
a. If not already tested, test fuel injector (page 3-110).
b. If not already removed, remove nozzle sealing gasket and discard.
