INJECTOR BODY.
Holds fuel injector parts in correct position in cylinder head. In-
cludes inlet, high pressure channel and leak off channel; lower face of injector
body has finished surface and has two holes in surface for locating dowels.
VALVE .
Controls flow of fuel from fuel injector.
VALVE STOP.
Controls distance valve will move; includes two dowel pins which hold
valve tip to valve body, ensuring correct spray pattern. Both faces of valve stop
have fine surface finish.
OPENING PRESSURE CONTROL SPRING.
Controls pressure required to lift valve from its
seat at injector tip sac.
SHIMS .
Push down on control spring to apply correct pressure to valve.
INJECTOR TIP.
Includes valve; orifices in injector tip atomize fuel for better com-
bustion and separate fuel spray to mix fuel spray with air.
CAP NUT.
Secures injector tip and valve stop to injector body.
NOZZLE SEAL.
Located under the cap nut, prevents engine compression leakage.
