If mounting hardwareis loose, tighten.b. If mounting hardwareis tight, go to stepbelow.2Step 2.Check upper door latch tongue for damage.a.b.c.If latch tongue is damaged, replace latch (page 3-588).Check if lower door latch plate is bent. If latch plate is bent,straighten.If latch tongue and latch plate are okay, go to step 3 below.Step 3.Inspect upper door for damage or bent condition.a. If upper door is bent or damaged, replace (page 3-588).b. If upper door is not bent or damaged, check that upper door iscorrectly installed. Remove and reinstall (page 3-588) if neces-sary.3. CAB LOWER DOOR WILL NOT LATCH.Step 1. Inspect cab lower door latch and door striker for damage.a. If door latch or door striker are damaged, replace (page 3-588).b.
