13. Disengage park brake (TM 5-3805-292-10) in order to provide oil pressure to the drive control handle.
14. Release door switch.
15. Run engine at low idle (TM 5-3805-292-10).
16. Move ground drive control joystick slowly to forward position (TM 5-3805-292-10) and record pressure reading.
17. Increase engine speed to full throttle (TM 5-3805-292-10).
18. Move ground drive control joystick one-half distance of full travel and watch pressure gauge. When pressure
gauge stops increasing, record pressure and move ground drive control joystick to neutral position. Shut down
engine.
a. (M400W only) Disconnect and plug hydraulic hose (Figure 17, Item 1).
b. If pressure is between 4500 - 5300 psi remove the left forward relief cartridge and swap with left reverse
relief cartridge.
c.
Repeat steps 9 through 18.
d. If the pressure is between 4500 - 5300 psi remove the left reverse relief cartridge and swap with right for-
ward relief cartridge.
e. Repeat steps 9 through 18.
f.
If the pressure is between 4500 - 5300 psi remove the right forward relief cartridge and swap with right
reverse relief cartridge.
g. Repeat steps 9 through 18.
h. If the pressure readings are between 4500 - 5300 psi the relief cartridges are good.
i.
If any of the readings are below 4500 psi replace the tandem pump
