WEATHERPROOF CONNECTOR REPAIR CONTINUED

1. Remove terminal lock (Figure 16, Item 1) from connector body (Figure 16, Item 7).
2. Slide shell (Figure 16, Item 5) backward on wiring harness (Figure 16, Item 6) to expose seal (Figure 16,
Item 4).
3. Slide seal (Figure 16, Item 4) backward and out of connector body (Figure 16, Item 7).
NOTE
One terminal shown. Repeat steps for other terminals.
Tag and mark all terminals to aid installation.
4. Remove terminal (Figure 16, Item 2) from connector body (Figure 16, Item 7).
5. Inspect terminal for corrosion, bent, or elongated opening. Remove terminal (Figure 16, Item 2) from wire
(Figure 16, Item 3) by cutting through wire just behind terminal if condition is found.
