NOTE
Install dowel pins as noted during removal.
1. Install two new dowel pins (Figure 11, Item 2) on cylinder block (Figure 11, Item 3).
2. Align new cylinder head gasket (Figure 11, Item 1) with dowel pins (Figure 11, Item 2) on cylinder block
(Figure 11, Item 3).

3. Install muffler bracket (Figure 12, Item 3), two washers (Figure 12, Item 2), and bolts (Figure 12, Item 1) on
cylinder head (Figure 12, Item 4).

WARNING
Use extreme caution when handling heavy parts. Provide adequate support and use
assistance during procedure. Ensure lifting device used is in good condition and of
suitable load capacity. Keep clear of heavy parts supported only by lifting device. Failure to
follow this warning may cause injury or death to personnel.
NOTE
Cylinder head weighs approximately 145.5 lb (66 kg).
