REMOVAL CONTINUED
31. Install sling and lifting device on backhoe control valve assembly.
WARNING
Use extreme caution when handling heavy parts. Provide adequate support during
procedure. Ensure any lifting device used is in good condition and of suitable load
capacity. Keep clear of heavy parts supported only by lifting device. Failure to follow this
warning may result in injury or death to personnel.
NOTE
Backhoe control valve assembly weighs 125 lb (57 kg).
32. Remove nut (Figure 7, Item 4) and bolt (Figure 7, Item 5) from backhoe control valve assembly
(Figure 7, Item 1).
33. Remove nut (Figure 7, Item 3) and bolt (Figure 7, Item 2) from backhoe control valve assembly
(Figure 7, Item 1).
34. Using lifting device and with assistance, remove backhoe control valve assembly (Figure 7, Item 1) from
machine and lower onto a flat surface.
35. Remove lifting device and sling from backhoe control valve assembly (Figure 7, Item 1).
