(14) Install roller tappet assemblies:

Grasp roller tappet using tappet tongs and insert through housing bore.
Reach through housing bottom bore using second tappet tongs, grasp roll-
er tappet, and aline tappet pin so it will easily go into guide groove
in housing bore.
Push roller tappet against spring using
tappet tongs until tappet holder can be
inserted between tappet capscrew and
nut. As you push roller tappet against
spring, use an awl to ensure that
plunger foot lines up with slot in con-
trol sleeve.
Install tappet holder with nose of bot-
tom pawl between tappet capscrew and
nut.
Press lever while guiding top pawl into
housing recess, then remove tappet
tongs.
Repeat steps (a) through (e) above to
install remaining roller tappets and
tappet holders in firing order sequence
1-5-3-6-2-4.
